&lt;p&gt;Why does azureQuery require a server side library? I thought it would access azure directly from the browser?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Update: I should have read more before posting. Seems like azureQuery is going through a service as well :/&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Thank you for making this happen! This is the right step I think!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you cosidered SAS (Shared Access Signatures) for the security model. Then the client would only have to get a SAS from the server and then execute function.&lt;/p&gt;
